PRIVATE SESSIONS

Private Session

Most athletes do not get enough 1-on-1 with a coach at their regular practice due to the amount of players on the ice and the coach-to-player ratio. We offer 1 hour long private sessions for $90 or bring a friend and book a buddy session for $75 each. Athletes will get quality instruction with one of our coaches. There may be other athletes training at the same time however we will have 1 coach to 2 player ratio at ALL TIMES during your session. Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.

Sessions will include 30 minutes on our skating treadmill where the athlete will work on all aspects of skating including edges, balance, foot speed, conditioning, stride length and skating form. This will allow the athlete to become that powerful skater that is so effective in today’s game. Included in the treadmill session will be on-the-spot video feedback to show the athlete the corrections and have them immediately apply what they’ve learned to their session.
30 minutes of the session will be spent in the shooting lane and in the synthetic ice skills training area. In the shooting lane, we will focus on quick release without losing shot power and how to use the technology of your stick to your advantage. In the skills area, we will work with athletes on small area stick and skating skills.

* All private sessions will include a skate sharpening.

By having one of our coach’s work with the players in the small group environment, the athlete will receive the attention to detail that can be so hard to get at a regular team practice and is essential for proper skill development.
